First and foremost
"Watch the two videos below before you continue here.
Your back, now continue reading:
You will need two people to install this coat rack. After you watch the two videos, read the following: If you do not feel comfortable hanging this coat rack, find someone who is. You can help.
You will be using sheetrock anchors. If there is a stud behind the sheetrock, simply use a screw provided instead. You may use both a screw and an anchor depending on the placement of the coat rack. Have a friend or partner place the coat rack where you want it to be hung. You can't really use a level on this coat rack because of its shape. You will need to stand back and eyeball it as accurately as you can while your friend holds it to the wall. They can help with this as well.
Once you have it where you want it, while your friend is still holding it in place, take the nail provided and tap it into the wall all the way through the drywall using the hanging holes on the coat rack. These two marks will be where you use a screw and/or an anchor. If you hit a stud, simply use one of the wood screws provided now. Do not screw it all the way down as you will want to let it hang while you install the anchor into the other hole that does not have a stud. You have watched the two videos, so you should know how to screw the wall anchors into the wall.
Once you have both wall anchors screwed in and flush with the wall, you're ready to hang your coat rack using the screws provided. Once the coat rack has been hung, finish with the two wooden plugs. Slightly tap them in with a hammer if needed. You're done!"
Little different than what you see in this video.
First, we use plastic self-drill anchors. Watch the video below on how to install them.
We also use the screws provided to mark your holes. Have a friend or lover hold the coat rack to
the wall and level it as seen in this video. Then place the screw in each hole one at a time and tap them with a hammer. This will give you the exact markings for the anchors. Install the anchors with a Philips screwdriver. Now you're ready to finish the job by screwing in the screws into the anchor with the two holes on the coat rack. Complete by attaching the two hooks provided in the plastic bag. Covering the holes. Your done.
Make sure you have one other person to help with this project.
